Mary Zhang is a creative technologist based in Los Angeles. Her expanded practice involves simple robotics, olfactory curation and creative coding. Her work seeks to investigate the implications of ever-evolving technology as tools, and how our labors and bodies shift as consequence.

Mary Zhang is a creative technologist exploring ways emerging technology takes on life by sensing, morphing and branching. She’s interested in harnessing ever changing digital tools to create new interactions that bring people closer to each other and to themselves.

With a background in neuroscience and bioengineering, her work weaves together critical research and build-to-understand design methods to imagine living, caring, bio-based futures.
